and built specifically for the
punishment that the ocean often delivers
to fishing boats. Constructed with a
.190” all-welded 5086 aluminum hull
bottom and .125” sides, the Ocean Pro is
tough enough to take a beating and dish
out a little of its own. Whether fishing
the Pacific, the Atlantic, or even the
Great Lakes, the Ocean Pro is your big
water boat.
Big Boat -
Go big or go home—that’s the theory the
Hewescraft engineers were working from
when they designed and built the Ocean
Pro. Here are the results of their
handiwork: 8’6” beam; 7’ bottom; 35”
side height; 52 gallon fuel tank; 32
gallon bow fishbox; 37 gallon transom
fishbox; extended transom motor mount
which is integrated as part of the hull
bottom for additional planing surface;
roomy hard top cabin (optional); and a
spacious fishing cockpit for landing
trophy sized lunkers. Sure it is big,
but not overly heavy, so the Ocean Pro
is fuel efficient and easy to tow.
